Some Knights hadn’t seen their moms in two years. A dozen volunteer moms converged on the UCF campus to offer a snack, free You Matter bracelets and stickers, a friendly “You Got This” as they walked by, and some got the hug they never knew they needed until that moment. There were smiles, tears (on both ends), Chipper the campus therapy dog was there to pet and got lots of love, and we all had THE BEST day! There is a lot in a simple hug. It is healing. We cannot wait to do it again!
